Erling Haaland should shun Man United

Ruud Gullit reckons Borussia Dortmund ace Erling Haaland should shun Man United and join their Prem rivals Man City or Liverpool.

Gullit thinks the Norwegian will grow at City under the club’s boss Pep Guardiola.

And he also believes Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be good for Haaland’s career development.

Gullit told Bild: “I see him in England but I don’t think he goes to Manchester United.

“City would be good for him because of Pep Guardiola. But Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool would also be great.”

Bukayo linked with a move to Liverpool

Bukayo Saka's excellent form has not gone unnoticed.  The starlet has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks, and now another contender has emerged for his signature.

ESPN claim Manchester City are 'watching' the 20-year-olds progress, with a view to possibly making a move for his signature.

Arsenal will be desperate not to lose one of their key players, especially to a direct rival.

The Gunners are lining up a contract extension for the England star in the summer, but if they fail to qualify for the Champions League City are claimed to be ready to pounce.

James McAtee committed his future to City

Man City wonderkid James McAtee has committed his future to the champions by signing a new four-year deal.

McAtee, 19, is highly-rated by Pep Guardiola and made his Premier League debut in November's 3-0 win against Everton.

McAtee was the subject of several approaches during the January transfer window after entering the final 18 months of his contract.

The likes of Brighton, Rangers, Bournemouth and Swansea all attempted to swoop for the starlet.

Joachim Low to become Fenerbahce boss

Ex-germany boss Joachim Low will reportedly become the new Fenerbahce boss in the summer, despite his long-running feud with Mesut Ozil.

The move will allow Low to bury the hatchet with his former player Ozil.

Ozil and Manchester City ace Ilkay Gundogan, who are both of Turkish descent, were pictured alongside controversial Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan ahead of the 2018 World Cup.

The photo sparked outrage and when the defending champions crashed out in the group stages, Ozil seemingly became the scapegoat for Germany's exit.

Low has expressed his desire to talk things through with Ozil.

Manchester City open talks with Raheem Sterling over contract extension

Manchester City are set to open talks with Raheem Sterling over a contract extension, reports suggest.

Sterling has attracted interested from both Barcelona and Real Madrid, and has previously said he would be ‘open’ to moving abroad.

But after a good run of form in December that saw Sterling score five goals in five games, ESPN claim that the club want to tie Sterling down to a new deal.

His current deal expires in 2023, but City are eager for him to pen an extension before entering the final 12 months of his contract.

Growing crowd trouble could wreck the special atmosphere at English grounds - Thomas Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel fears growing crowd trouble could wreck the special atmosphere at English grounds.

Chelsea’s boss spoke out after Antonio Rudiger was hit by a bottle opener and a lighter hurled from the section of Stamford Bridge housing Tottenham’s fans.

Blues defender Rudiger made it known to referee Paul Tierney but is not taking the matter further.

This incident comes at the end of a weekend in which disorder has resurfaced at Premier League grounds.

Objects were hurled by Everton fans in their defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday and there were pitch invasions at Southampton during their draw with Manchester City that evening.

Tuchel said: “If it’s a new trend we should act together to stop it as soon as possible to protect the environment of this game and the atmosphere that’s absolutely unique in England.

“I love to have the fans close to the pitch.

“Not behind fences and not behind nets. It’s a brilliant atmosphere.
